Care of Your Drum

We are sure you will be happy with your purchase. To ensure continued enjoyment of this fine instrument, please keep the following care instructions and information in mind.

  • Your Native American Drum is made of natural materials and, as such, will expand and contract based on the weather, temperature and humidity. All these factors will affect the sound of your drum.

  • Keep your drum in a dry location.

  • The optimum temperature for playing your drum is between 80 and 90 degrees. If your Native American Drum has been colder than 80 degrees, you should allow plenty of time for your drum to warm up to improve the sound.

  • Never store your drum or leave it for an extended period in direct sunlight. If shade is not available, cover your drum from the sun.

We appreciate your business and are sure your drum will provide you with years of enjoyment and pleasure.
